The Bishop Manogue Boys Varsity Team has suffered another defeat this season at home, 0-4, with no goals to respond to Carson last Saturday. Whenever the boys had momentum down the field, it was quickly disrupted by Carson.
It has been a similar story for the rest of the season as well. So far, the boys have started off the season with an unlucky record of 0-6. Their last game against Reno High also ended similarly with a crushing 0-8 defeat. Their most recent and only goal was against Spanish Springs two weeks ago, when they lost 1-2. With the team yet to win a game, player Landon Park said, “We’ve had a couple of rough games this season after losing some players from last year, but I think our luck will turn around against Douglas.”
As their schedule stands, their next game is a home game against Douglas, where they’ll hopefully break their current losing streak.
