Hugs for Hurricane Victims

Adrianna Osmetti, News Editor

On Thursday, August 31, Bishop Manogue students donated and delivered items to Project Bear Hugs to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey, a devastating Category 4 tropical storm causing $180 billion of damage in Texas on August 25, 2017. Project Bear Hugs is a locally based non-profit charity that provides comfort to victims of disaster by collecting and distributing supplies such as stuffed animals, water, pet food, blankets, and pillows. Even though they had only one day to prepare, these Manogue students rallied to generously support this worthy cause and responded with genuine Miner spirit!
