Schools should not have to use computers due to the unreliable internet.

Throughout my childhood, I have went from turning all my assignments in on paper, to doing all homework, test, projects, and notes on my computer. Assignments used to be due by the time you had class, because it was on paper, but now they are all do at 11:59 the night before class the next day. Then there is always the problem of the internet not working, or the power going out. This happens, and then all your assignments are marked late, or you could not see them so now you are father behind. It also makes it way easier for the teachers. They can use google to grade all the tests, instead of actually having to sit down and grade them. I think that it is important for the teacher to sit down and grade the test, to see where the students are still struggling and are confused.

It also makes it very tempting for students to cheat. If they are able to just look up all the answers, because they can have their computer open, a lot are going to do so. If they can ask AI to write them an essay, and all they have to do is copy and paste it, a lot of students are going to do so. If they want a decrease in cheating in school, I think they should just take away electronics, and not just the phone, but all electronics.

Overall I believe that if they took away computer from schools, both students and teachers would benefit from it. All work would be done honestly by students, because they have no way of being able to use AI, or looking up the answers. The teachers, would have a better understanding of what they still need to work on, and what the students actually know, not what the computer knows. The students would also be able to turn the assignments in during class, and not have to do it before.
