Student elections are taking place this week at Manogue. We asked your junior class president nominees the following question:
What made you want to run for class president and why do you think you are the best choice?
“Being in student council my sophomore year, I saw how much of a difference ASB makes. I wanted to further my participation in this class while taking on a higher responsibility as class president. This will allow me to have a greater say in major decisions, allowing me to improve the experience me and my peers have throughout our Junior year at Manogue. I think I am the best choice because of my previous experience in a president position. The past year I have taken on the President of my NCL class which has taught me what it takes to be the voice for a group of people to a higher board. I plan to promote and encourage school spirit and participation to our class and the whole school, doing my absolute best to give the 2025 junior class the best experience possible.”

“I am running for class president because I genuinely care about our school community and want to make a positive impact. I want to guarantee that everyone feels included. By doing so, I will create an environment where everyone’s voices are heard and have the resources to succeed. Whether it comes to improving student events, or even just ensuring there’s better communication between students and teachers. I’m really passionate about addressing the issues that affect all of us. I believe I am the best choice for this position because I am a good listener, I’m organized, and efficient, which I think is important when it comes to getting things done. Lastly, I’m extremely motivated to benefit the future junior class in making our high school experience memorable.”
