Although it’s still winter, Manogue is preparing for ‘Summer Nights’ in the gymnasium. BMCHS will transform into Rydell High for Grease the Musical which opens in early March.
Nearly 25 students are are in this performance, along with 10 crew and tech members. They have been rehearsing famous songs and dances from the popular musical since January. You might recognize hits like “Summer Nights” and “Greased Lightnin’.” Grease is a story about teenagers navigating life in the 1950s – including love. Aibhilin Pezanoski, who plays Sandy in the musical, says, “The highlight of my school year is the spring musical and I love getting to connect with all my friends while do something I love.” It’s a fun-filled musical for students, family and friends.
The show times are 7pm on March 6-8 and there’s a matinee at 2pm on Sunday, March 9th. Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults. If you still need tickets, head to the Miner Wire for a link.
