Each year, Bishop Manogue High School hosts a Color Run before an at-home Varsity football game, this year it followed a tailgate hosted by Mr. D. This year’s Color Run was a big hit with the students, and many showed up in their all white outfits to be sprayed with dyed powder before the big game.

Students gathered at the roundabout in front of the main entrance of Manogue, and waited for the countdown from Mrs. Cope before taking off into the cloud of rainbow dye. The cheerleaders were the first ones through, and set the stage for the brightly colored student section at the game.

“I had a really great time this year,” One student said, “I’m glad so many people showed up, it really made it more fun.” such a true statement. This year we had a great show out of students wanting to bring their school spirit against the game against Pittsburg. Way to go Miners, looking forward to next year’s Color Run!
