On August 6th and 7th, the class of 2026 took part in a favorite tradition – painting their parking spots. With paint brushes, loads of paint, and plenty of creativity, they turned the plain black parking spaces in the parking lot into vibrant designs that will brighten up the parking lot for the rest of the school year. Each spot reflects a different personality. Nearly every design included their names and “Class of 2026” marking the lot as their own.
Painting senior parking spots has been a favorite tradition for years, giving each graduating class a chance to leave its mark. For many of the seniors it marks the start of their senior year. This event was not just about decorating but bring the senior class together. Seniors spent the 2 days listening to music, painting alongside their friends, and making memories will last forever.
As the school year goes on the artwork may fade but the tradition will live on forever, reminding future classes that senior year is about more than just parking spots, but it’s about leaving your mark.
