Sodality is an all-girls Christian club founded on the mission to demonstrate the love of Christ through serving others. The first Sodality board meeting of the 2025-2026 school year was held on September 4th. The board, composed of Junior and Senior Girls, worked with Mrs. Meschner to create more opportunities for members to complete service projects and attend field trips to volunteer.
Majken Burtt, a Senior on the board, stated that, “We are really excited about this year. One thing that we are big on is creating more opportunity for underclassmen specifically to earn more service hours”.
One way Sodality plans to achieve this is through creating sign ups for members to create posters for the board’s events, such as the annual Halloween Spirit dress up day. This opportunity will be accessible to underclassmen because it will take place during Miner Block . They will be able to take these posters home to decorate them.
Alongside their traditional field trips to the Food Pantry, Sodality also hopes to plan field trips to a local retirement community around Christmas or Valentine’s Day to spend quality time with residents.
Senior Julianna Evans looks forward to the year, stating that, “We are very excited for this new year and our new plans we will incorporate to keep the club service filled and fun.”
