When I first heard about Kairos, I did not really understand all the hype around it. Everyone was saying how amazing it was, but the only thought I had was “It is gonna be the same as all the other school retreats.” Then I went my junior year and it ended up being way better than I expected. I would say it was one of the biggest life changing experiences I will ever have. You might not understand why people tell you to go until you’re there, but once you go, you will get it.

A lot of people like to think that it is just about religion, but it is way more than that. It is about stepping back, detoxing from your phone, and finding what really matters in your life. In a world where we are always online, distracted from the real world, Kairos offers something that is rare.

This year Karios 78 will take place October 19th-21st in the most magical and beautiful Lake Tahoe. Unlike the last 2 years where there were four retreats, only 3 are offered this year. That means if you are waiting to go, you might miss your chance this year.
