The Clash Royale Club, started by seniors Colin McKenzie and Elijah Peterson, began mid-September here at Manogue. With around 75 members, it’s focused on bringing together students who share a passion for the mobile strategy game.
For years, Clash Royale has had a reputation for being one of the most addictive mobile games out there. The quick matches and competitive nature of the game have kept players hooked worldwide. Recently, the game has seen a resurgence in popularity on campus, resulting in students glued to their phones in the hallways, quick matches before class, and now, the creation of an official club.
President Colin McKenzie says: “We were inspired to bring the Manogue community together through the game of Clash Royale. We wanted to unite all grade levels together to create the best Clash Royale clan this school has ever seen.” The club meets monthly, where members face off in tournaments. Beyond gameplay, the club also provides a space for building community, giving students a chance to connect over a shared interest.
