It’s official – Kairos 80 will be Disney themed: bringing adventure, friendship, and faith together for an unforgettable experience!
Manogue is excited to continue one of our beloved core traditions, Kairos 80, a purposeful, reflective retreat centered around faith and fellowship. Students, leaders, and teachers attending this retreat will depart from Manogue’s campus on Sunday, March 15th, and will return on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026.
The beautiful, transformative, once-in-a-lifetime experience that we call Kairos has grown so popular that signups for Kairos 80 have officially closed within the first day of them being posted. Kairos 80 has an official waiting list for those who are still hopeful to participate.
Leighton Benge, a junior Kairos retreatant, expressed her excitement for Kairos 80: “I can’t wait to join the Kairos community and be a part of this Manogue tradition. I am really looking forward to establishing new friendships with my fellow classmates and Kairos leaders.”
Ohana means family, and this group of Senior Kairos leaders is here to make sure that no one gets left behind. This group of retreatants will get to experience the magical journey of Kairos under the guidance of student leaders Nathan Simmons, Haedynn Maldonado, Sofia Jaferian, Avery Struby, Amelia Rodriguez, Nathan Shannon, Liam Olekowski, Annabelle Sullivan, Liam Sorenson, Mac Polk, Peter Romero, Jilly Foster, Kaylee Sanchez, Natalia Alarcon, Storrey Schnarr, and Julianna Evans.
As one of your leaders, I’m here to say that “You’ve got a friend in me”, and that I am deeply grateful and excited for the opportunity to help shape Kairos 80 into a heart-renewing adventure. My own experience attending Kairos 75 served as a deeply meaningful walk with God. I am deeply grateful for the chance to help make that possible for someone else.
My advice for retreatants is to fully embrace every moment, surprise, and adventure that Kairos 80 presents. The term Kairos comes from the Greek language and means the right, opportune, and God appointed moment. I strongly encourage those attending to be present, and fully immerse themselves in the spirit of Kairos. As Peter Pan reminds us, in order to get the most out of your Kairos experience, “All it takes is faith and trust.” Thankfully, no pixie dust is necessary to have a great time on Kairos 80.
