After three years of dedication to Bishop Manogue’s wrestling program, senior Jaxen Faust closed out his high school career with an impressive post season run, winning a regional title and placing fifth at the state tournament. His final stretch on the mat reflected the growth, resilience,, and leadership he developed throughout his time in the program.
Faust captured the Regional win on February 8, earning his place among Northern Nevada’s top competitors. He then advanced to state on February 14, where he faced some of the toughest wrestlers in Nevada and battled his way to a fifth place finish. The performance capped off a season defined by hard work and dedication.
Head coach Wes praised Faust’s commitment, “Jaxen has had a great season and it was awesome seeing his progression these last three years,” Wes said.
Although his wrestling career at Manogue has come to an end, Faust leaves behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. The dedication and perseverance he gained on the mat will continue to guide him as he steps into the next chapter after graduation.
