This year, two students ran completely unopposed for their respective positions. One of these students was Kaleia Wallstrum, the 2026-2027 Production and Performance Coordinator. Kaleia has been an integral part of the behind-the-scenes planning and production of all of our rallies over the past year, and this year she has a formal title to show it.
Kaleia will be a senior in the upcoming school year, and she is incredibly excited to spend her last year at Manogue with our amazing student body. Her formal position entails planning, coordinating, and choreographing all of the rally dances and music with nominees. She said her favorite part of this position is seeing the final result of all of her hours of hard work at a rally.
By bringing her experience in competitive dancing, Kaleia is more than experienced in dancing and choreographing a variety of styles of dance. She told the Miner Detail that she could see herself taking her skills into a professional facet in her adult life, so she is incredibly excited to be gaining more invaluable experience this year.
We are incredibly lucky to have someone as talented and passionate as Kaleia to be the first person to fill this Student Council Position. We can’t wait to see what she continues to put together for our students over this next year. Congratulations Kaleia!
