We asked your nominees what they think about the position and what they had to say. Here are their responses.
Nominee #1
Chiara Ferrari

1. Who are you?
Hi, my name is Chiara Ferrari. I am a class of 2028 who has been on the girls’ varsity soccer team both years! I am also vice president of the Beads of Brightness service club here at Manogue, a club that targets raising morale in healthcare workers. Some things I love to do are running, working out, spending time with friends/family, coloring, cooking, and going to the lake. Most importantly, I enjoy doing things surrounding my faith, like going to church or bible studies.
2. Why would you be good at being Secretary?
I believe I would be a great fit for the Secretary position because I’m organized, dependable, and a great communicator. I work best in group settings where others rely on me, and I take pride in keeping things organized and ensuring that tasks are carried out properly.
3. Why do you want to be Secretary?
I want to be Secretary because I know I could greatly contribute to ASB by helping plan and carry out events successfully. I enjoy making sure everyone is on the same page and helping teams work together efficiently, and I believe I can apply those strengths to this role. My biggest goal is to support our school and community in any way I can, and I feel that being Secretary would allow me to make the most positive impact.
4. What do you love about Manogue?
There is so much I love about Manogue! First, I love how much of a community I feel our school has. With its smaller student body, caring teachers, and insane school spirit, it really feels like so much more than just a high school. I also love that at Manogue, I am able to both academically and athletically challenge myself with many peers having similar goals. I really feel like our student body is very dedicated as a whole. Finally, I love that God is at the center of everything we do; it is a great reminder of our true purpose to carry out inside and outside of school.
