Native Nevadan Matthew Schambari, former campus minister and school administrator at Manogue from 2001-2010, believes “returning to Bishop Manogue truly feels like returning home.”
He will begin his role next June, this time as president of the school. Schambari is thrilled to be back, and in a press release from November 13 expressed his excitement, and reflected on how Catholic education had shaped him: “As I look back on my last sixteen years in Catholic education I know that I have been blessed with a wonderful career and experiences at terrific Catholic high schools. I feel all of my experiences have been leading to this opportunity,” he stated.
Additionally, Schambari is looking forward to making Manogue the best it can be for students, parents, faculty, and alumni: “I am so excited to work with the Bishop Manogue team to ensure a top notch, Catholic education for students in Northern Nevada.”
