Manogue Green Club Featured on KCRA Channel 2!

Thirteen club members worked tirelessly on Labor Day to help the League to Save Lake Tahoe pick up 240 pounds of trash in Tahoe City.

The Green Club’s mission is to promote environmental awareness and stewardship, fundraise for and assist with local service projects to improve the environment, make Bishop Manogue a more eco-friendly school, and spend time enjoying Tahoe while working to keep it beautiful.

Senior Allison Gunderson founded the club last year in hopes that she could improve both her school and community.  She encourages students to get involved in the club however they can.  “It’s a great way to earn service hours, while having fun outdoors,” she explains.
