The Bishop Manogue girls tennis team is set to have their first match tomorrow Tuesday, August 29 against Reed High School to kick off what is expected to be a good season.
The girls will play at 2 PM at Reed tomorrow. The Miners intend to start the season off strong and hopefully go to the State competition in Las Vegas this year at the end of October. The team has been practicing for the last two weeks and intend to play well and have fun tomorrow. The Bishop Manogue girls tennis team is hopeful they will beat their long-time rivals, Reno High School, later in the season. This would be a historic victory for the Miners considering they lost by only one point in the regional competition last year.
Be sure to show up and support our girls tennis team tomorrow at Reed! If you are unable to make it to this match, the team will also be playing at Galena High School at 3 PM this Thursday.
