Joe Biden caused you to be late to school last Monday. Biden was vacationing in Lake Tahoe last week and he planned a trip to Hawaii to visit the aftermath of the Maui wildfires and decided to leave Tahoe at 7 a.m. in rush hour traffic. This caused the freeway to shut down and people had to take different routes in order to commute to school.
The freeway being shut down for Joe Biden caused a lot of frustration throughout the Bishop Manogue student body, as a lot of people who live further away from Manogue were late for school because of all the traffic. A student from Manogue who lives in Washoe Valley said, “It was really frustrating that he decided to leave when people are trying to get to work and to school.”
The citizens of Northern Nevada hope that when he decides to vacation next he will leave at a time when people aren’t trying to get to school and work.
