The Knowledge Center remodel is under way. Begun in August, renovations are expected to be complete sometime in October. The Knowledge Center is being converted into another lunch room to accommodate more students.

They decided to go for a newer look with hard flooring and a mural covering the walls. The knowledge center is used as a study space for students, along with a nice social area. Mr. Galli, a teacher at Manogue states his opinion on the knowledge center remodel: “It is definitely a big change, but I understand it is a necessity as Manogue wants to open its door and welcome as many people as possible, but with opening its doors it runs into space issues and logistic issues.”

As the school needs to accommodate the new students coming to Manogue, and as the freshman class keeps growing bigger, this is the most effective way to take them in. However, we do hope that a new tech center will be developed as many students utilize the facility to complete homework and as a learning place for students to congregate and share ideas. The Knowledge Center will be missed, but we can consider the new lunch room as a fresh start for our growing institution.
