A new haunted house opened at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno on September twenty-ninth, called Dark Corner. Holly Spahr is the owner and operator of Dark Corner Haunt. Holly found interest in makeup and haunted houses, giving her a community as well as helping her anxiety and depression.
Dark Corner is a freakishly realistic haunted experience filled with frightening live actors, special effects, and even more monsters. This over-the-top haunted house places you in a mall setting, forcing you to run and escape to the second setting, placing you in a Sanitarium. Along with the haunted house, cosmic bowling is also offered. Cosmic bowling is family friendly, and only five dollars per person. The Nightmare Bar is also part if the experience, open six-ten pm. A sixteen year old Junior, Grace, went to Dark Corner last Sunday, she said that “It was the scariest thing she had had to go through.” The Dark Corner Haunt is open Friday to Sunday, and closes the day after Halloween night.
