After sign ups at the National Bowling Stadium, yesterday, Wednesday the 18th, the BMCHS Bowling team, under the leadership of Coach Eugene, Mrs. Bavaro, and Mr. Frensdorff prepares for a successful 2023-2024 season in the Pam Buckner Open!
As the end of October approaches, the winter sports season at Manogue kicks into action, and bowling, as one of the most anticipated and amusing winter sports, has every spot filled! Manogue students have consistently loved being a part of the bowling team, not including the obligatory cease for COVID-19, due to its formidable leadership and coaches. Mrs. Bavaro, the art teacher that almost every Manogue student has had at least once, leads the bowling team. Mrs. Leblanc, the upperclassmen English teacher, who helped run bowling has actually stepped down, with the spritely Mr. Frensdorff taking her place. Finally, the esteemed Coach Eugene, who teaches the Manogue bowlers technique, bowling etiquette, and helps them grow to the best of their ability. Also worth mentioning his bowling average is in the 200s!
The bowling team’s fame isn’t just from the idolized faculty, but the dedication and determination of the students. In just the two practices that they have held so far, the overall team average is up by over 20 points! With months for improvement, and plenty of retained talent, the BMCHS Bowling team hopes to score as high as possible in the new season!
