Dark Corner Haunt is a Haunted House here in Reno. It is located at the National Bowling Stadium in downtown Reno. It is owned and run by Holly Spahr, who seems to have an eye for creating entertainment that is bound to scare you. Holly is a sculptor, scenic artist, and costume addict, so she put all her time, love, and effort into this Haunted House.
I attended this Haunted House last Friday with my good friends Nola and Ava. The tickets for general admission into the Haunted House is twenty-five dollars, which I believe to be so worth the money. The line to get in was super long, and it took over an hour to get into the building. We went to the haunted house at around ten pm, so I would recommend to go earlier to beat the long lines. But, even though we were waiting outside for a long time, there was still entertainment out there too. There were scare actors outside, from men with masks, to people on stilts, or even a girl with a live cockroach in her hands. We were already getting scared just standing out there. Once we got into the building there was a slight wait, and the three of us ended up going in with this other couple. The Haunted House had a total of three different houses you had to go through. The themes and decorations for these houses were extremely creative and so realistic. The actors knew exactly what to do, and the costumes they were put in were so detailed and frightening. Every single room you had to go through had different jump scares left and right. From people popping out at you to freakishly realistic animatronics, they made it their life mission to make sure you get scared good.
Overall my friends and I had so much fun, screaming, laughing, and even crying a little. If you love to get scared or just overall love Halloween and this season I would most definitely recommend considering going to this haunted house.
