The Bishop Manogue Miners successfully brought home a State Champion Title after 20 years against Faith Lutheran Tuesday, November 21st, with a final score 40-21. Overall The Bishop Manogue Miners completed the 2023 football season with an overall 10-2 win and league 5-0 win, making them number one in the League.

This was the Miners first State title since 2003.

Star players like Domenic Marconato, Ben Scolari, Cody Fleischmann, and Marrio Williams led the miners to their undefeated 2023 football season. Cody Fleischmann completed the season with 118.1 Rushing Yards Per Game, Ben Scolari with 95.3 receiving Yards Per Game, Domenic Marconato with 53.9 Receiving Yards Per Game, and Marrio Williams with 6.1 Tackles Per Game. Bishop Manogue football teams camaraderie was one of the many reasons they were able to finish the season with the first state championship title in 20 years.

Junior Andreas Alfaro says “We have a strong sense of family in our team and that definitely helped us through the season to get to where we are. We weren’t only working for ourselves, but for our brothers beside us.”
