In Reno, the Bishop Manogue High School swim team is making waves with their commitment and hard work. Most of the team also swim in clubs, showing their dedication to the sport. Before the sun rises, the Bishop Manogue swim team is already in the pool, working hard to get better. They don’t just swim for the school; they also join club teams, practicing five days a week for two hours, often starting at 5 AM.
Their hard work pays off at swim meets where they often win, but it’s about more than just victories. They learn important life skills like managing time well, sticking to goals, and never giving up. This season, the Bishop Manogue swim team is once again proving they’re a group to watch. They show what young athletes can do when they’re passionate and willing to work hard.
Every morning and every tough practice helps the Bishop Manogue swim team get ready not just for competitions but for any challenge life might throw at them. They learn to be strong and determined, lessons that will help them long after high school.
At the end of our story, senior swimmer Jack Hall shares what keeps the team going. “It’s not just about winning or setting records,” says Hall. “It’s about the hard work, being there for each other, and always trying to be better. Getting up early and pushing ourselves in every practice makes us stronger, in and out of the pool.”
