As this week passes so has another Kairos at Bishop Manogue. This was an unusual one for the list as its rescheduling had it landing in the middle of the school week. Resulting in not only a different feel for the trip but some of the best food options yet! This experience has yet again touched the hearts of all the retreatants and even the first time chaperones that accompany everyone on the trip. There is one important thing to remember as retreatants and even former retreatants move on from their Kairos.
This important thing to remember is to never forget all that you learned on this retreat about yourself, your friends, and most importantly our God. Everyone is loved and don’t be hesitant to reach out to former leaders or chaperones as they can help with any problem one might face. Kairos is a time of reflection and deep thought. It’s a time to find one’s true self and all the Kairos 72 leaders hope the retreatants did just that.
Hopefully this is more than enough encouragement for any underclassmen on the fence of going on the retreat. Zane Woods, A Junior at Bishop Manogue had this to say about the retreat,” Man I wish I could go back right now. It is such a special time to reconnect with old friends, family, and God.” Take the leap and go on the next Kairos, it’s something not a lot of schools have so take advantage of it. Then for any Juniors wanting to share their Kairos experience the next year as seniors, Juniors can reach out to Ms. Klekas for any questions. God bless!
