Bishop Manogue is filled with many creative and driven students but the one we at the Miner Detail just had to talk to is Quinn McCormack. Quinn is in the graduating senior class and is going to be attending Drexel University in Philadelphia for Music production. You may have even seen him perform the national anthem at football games or with his makeshift school band at the winter formal pep rally. He is constantly making moves and arranging events that align with his passion of creative and playing music. We at the miner detail even got a chance to sit down with him and ask some questions about what inspires him and his sound.
“So are there any projects you’re working on and if so are there any sounds that inspire you?”
“I would say nearly every artist I listen to inspires me to some degree, but I particularly take inspiration from my musical friends, such as the extremely talented Cole Rodriguez, and shredder himself, Jack Thompson. I think that having friends who are also into music helps me a lot with my own work. But currently I produce music by myself, using a Digital Audio Workstation to make anything from trap beats to beatdown punk music. I am also in another band called Indifferent currently recording our debut EP”

Quinn is just one example of one student at Manogue going above and beyond to follow their dreams. We highly recommend students at Manogue to follow Quinns band Indifferent on Instagram to see when their next show is, since the band won’t have a show for a little while once Quinn leaves for Drexel. He is an inspiration to all he comes into contact with and everyone can’t wait to see where he goes next!
