This past weekend, May 4th, Bishop Manogue hosted prom at the Whitney Peak hotel from 7-10pm and it was a hit. The dance was for the junior and senior classes and had great food, a good DJ and was a great way to end the year.
The Whitney Peak venue is always a great place to have a dance because there is so much space, and the appetizers are always delicious! Senior Will Budke said, “I really like this venue compared to last year because it is so open and it didn’t get super hot. It is also nice that there aren’t any distractions from dancing and having a good night with my friends!” This seemed to be the consensus over the junior and senior class population, and the dance overall received great feedback!
This was also a great experience for the junior class, being their first prom, and they expressed nothing but excitement and happiness during the dance. Junior Macie Mead said, “I have never been to prom before, but this was amazing! The DJ was great and I loved being able to dance with my friends all night! Also the decorations were so cute and fit the theme so well!” We saw a great turnout from the students, and received a ton of compliments and positive feedback on both the venue and the dance overall.
In conclusion, Prom 2024 was a success! There was so much positive feedback, and it was a great way to end the year, especially for the senior class. From the venue, DJ and theme, to the decorations and appetizers, every single part was amazing! Prom was a great example of what to expect for next year, and all of the fun memories to come in the upcoming year!
