The Bishop Manogue varsity football team has its homecoming game against McQueen this Friday at 7:00 p.m. This will be Manogue’s second football game at home, the other being a victory 21-14 against St. Mary’s.
So far, the team has played six games – five of which were away – and won half of them, a respectable record but a little lackluster compared to last year’s success. Despite there being a small slump – the team had a three-game losing streak until their win against Spanish Springs – the Bishop Manogue Miners go into this game with high morale and good spirits, given their record for local matches.
“I feel great, we’re probably going to win,” said Pele Masina, the running back for the football team. “The plan is to just dominate.”
The Bishop Manogue Miners enter this game with good vibes and confidence as they prepare to face McQueen head-on this Friday.
