Bishop Manogue hosted a line-dancing lesson last night from 6:00-7:00 pm in the SCC. Sarah B, a dance teacher from Pure Country Canteen, volunteered to teach three different line dances to the students of Bishop Manogue High School.
Sarah B, leading the event, taught with enthusiasm and patience making this event so memorable. She ensured every students was safe and comfortable with each dance she taught. Students and even some staff gathered to learn classic dances such as Tipsy, Cowboy Charleston, and even the Ten Step! With the upbeat tunes playing, the crowd clapping and heel clicking, a sense of support and overall fun was created.
Grady Montoya, a Senior at BMCHS and a beginner dancer, said “This was a great experience and I loved learning the ropes of line-dancing!” From beginners to well round dancers, all left with a smile and some extra sweat on their faces.
