Bishop Manogue hosted their annual Homecoming dance this past Saturday with a brand new DJ, DJ Jon.

DJ Jon was a brand new part of this years homecoming. Looking to stray away from the classic DJ Icey, students discovered Jon through various connections. DJ Jon has performed for many different crowds, including at Burning Man. He was even generous enough to offer our school a discount and DJ lessons to any interested students.

DJ Jon was a hit with the community. He remixed many of the students favorite songs and got the crowd extremely hyped up. However, the set up was slightly faulty and there were some issues with the school’s breaker system. The cables were slightly exposed, so when a student tripped over the chords the whole music system shut off. This sadly happened a couple times throughout the night, but this did not ruin the night. The students supported the new DJ by chanting “DJ Jon” repeatedly when there were technical difficulties.

Our Manogue student body had a great 2024 Homecoming dance and were able to dance the night away with the help of DJ Jon’s house remixes of all the popular songs.
