Leighton Benge is a Junior at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School. She is a new addition to the Miner Detail staff this year, and is very excited to be apart of the Broadcast Journalism team for the 2025-2026 school year! Leighton is involved with BMCHS Student Council, and was elected as Historian last school year. She is working in her position this school term, and is excited to become more involved within the school culture. Her hobbies include painting, sculpture, music, baking, and fashion, as well as spending time with her friends and family. Leighton plans on attending college, hoping to eventually pursue a career in Law.
