Bishop Manogue Catholic High School is getting ready for a very busy Homecoming weekend filled with a rally, a football game and a dance. BMCHS students will celebrate this year’s Homecoming with the theme, “Lost in Wonderland” with events taking place Friday, Sept. 25, and Saturday, Sept. 26.

The Homecoming celebrations will begin Friday afternoon with the school rally. All students will attend the rally and celebrate with their classmates.The rally will bring all students together before the football game and is going to build excitement for the rest of the weekend.

Following the rally, students will have the chance to vote for the Homecoming King and Queen. This will give students a chance to recognize their classmates and celebrate the people who represent the school’s spirit during Homecoming week.

Later that day, the football team will play McQueen High School at home with the game beginning at 7:00 p.m. Students and families are highly suggested to come out and support the Miners. The game will be another opportunity for students to show school spirit while spending time with their classmates.

Bishop Manogue students are very excited and are looking forward to this exciting weekend. BMCHS student, Lily Wiese, shows her excitement by stating “I can’t wait for the dance!”

The Homecoming weekend will continue onto Saturday night with the Homecoming dance on Sept. 26. The theme this year, “Lost in Wonderland,” gives students the chance to dress up related to the theme and enjoy a special night inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. Homecoming passes can be bought at the front door.

With several major events happening over the course of two days, Homecoming will give Bishop Manogue students multiple chances to come together and show off their school spirit.! After the rally and football game on Friday, students can look forward to ending the week with the “Lost in Wonderland” dance on Saturday night.
