The holiday season is all about having fun with family and friends. What better way to do that than ice skating! This year Reno Ice is the perfect opportunity to have some silly fun with your loved ones. Located in Galena off of Wedge Parkway, they offer public skating 7 days a week. You can even join them for night sessions where they dim their lights and turn on their light show.

Reno Ice opened in January of this year, so it’s relatively new, but it has quickly grown in popularity. With a small fee of $10 per person for a session and $4 for rental skates, it has many locals hooked on skating. Many reviews state how people of all ages love it. It’s a friendly environment and is a guaranteed way to make valuable memories. Cole H on Yelp says, “This place is awesome! They have a huge indoor ice rink for all year skating. Their employees are friendly and helpful. They also give lessons and it doubles as a hockey stadium. This place is awesome.” With an affordable price and friendly staff, you simply can’t go wrong.

Skating isn’t your scene? Well they also host hockey games there as well. Even if you’re not a big sports fan, it’s all locals playing and it’s a good way to support the people in this town. It’s also extremely fun to watch the boys hit the wall and slam their sticks. The adult league starts official training in March but you can watch them train even now all throughout the day. Games are on Monday nights from 8 pm-10 pm.

No matter what you’re looking for this holiday season, Reno Ice has your best interest at heart. They offer the best skating in town and what doesn’t scream Christmas like ice skating on a cold night with your loved ones. This year Reno Ice is expecting a big turn out for their holiday season skating, so come and join them!
