Man Runs Through Dust Devil at Burning Man Festival

Burning Man is an art festival that occurs in the Black Rock Desert in late August to early September. It is usually very hot and dry, due to it being on an old dry lakebed, which directs sunlight right on it. If the wind picks up, it can also sometimes cause a small, tornado shaped cloud of dust to form.
This year, on September 2, a particularly large dust devil came through a campsite at Burning Man, picking up sand and small rocks as it went. One man decided that it would be a good idea to run into the dust devil. He later said that it was quote “Not fun,” and that “I could barely see my feet.”
While dust devils are pretty cool to look at, going into one might not be a good idea.
