This Saturday, May 6th, Bishop Manogue will be holding a junior and senior prom for the 2022-2023 school year at South 40. The theme of the event is “mask off,” a play on a masquerade ball where all attendees are encouraged to dress their best and wear a decorated mask to match their outfit. The event will take place from 7:00-10:00 p.m. on Saturday night.

Tickets are currently available for $55 for an individual and $100 for couples. Tickets will be sold at the door for those who were not able to purchase one on campus this past week.

Students around Bishop Manogue have been buzzing with excitement as the anticipated event comes nearer. Throughout the past week it has been common to see creative “promposals” in the BMCHS parking lot and shared on social media. “Promposals” for the 2023 school year have ranged from classic signs to gift boxes of Crumbl cookies as students pair up with their date to attend the event.
As of the most recent weather reports, it is anticipated that there may be light rain on the day of the event, but that is not stopping students from continuing the celebration on May 6th. Senior student Julianna Flores shared her excitement and expectations for the event, sharing with the Miner Media team that the dance “is going to be lit.”

If any Manogue students have pictures of their promposals, please share them with the Miner Media team via social media @_minermedia to be featured in a special MinerTV video. We hope students have an amazing time at prom this weekend, and we cannot wait to see the event come together!
