Mrs. Hilliard and the BMCHS theater program will be holding a musical to promote the arts this coming spring. Students in theater will be at the club fair to gather possible musical ideas and gauge the number of students who are interested in auditioning.

The fair was held on Monday the 28th and Wednesday the 30th of August. Although it is still unclear what the musical will be showcasing this upcoming spring, we do know that the decision will depend on how many students audition. For example, if 40+ students sign up, the student body will be able to perform a musical with a larger cast.

After discussing with the performing arts teacher and music director of BMCHS, Mrs. Hilliard provided some special insight on what ideas she has in store. “I would like to incorporate more choreography into the upcoming musical,” describes Mrs. Hilliard. Cast members from last year’s The Addams Family: A New Musical also gave their input: “I thought that it was great!” says one member, “definitely would audition again next spring.”
