The families of Bishop Manogue are invited to attend Manogue’s annual Back-to-School Night! This will take place at Bishop Manogue Catholic High School on Wednesday, August 30 at 5:00 P.M. At this event, families will be welcomed by and will enjoy their evening with Faculty and Staff, the Student Council, Leadership and Miner Ministry. This night is held to ease families back into the school year and to start the year off on a fresh, good note.
The overview of the schedule for the night will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M., and during this time, parents will visit each class on their child’s schedule. They will visit their child’s first period at 5:05 P.M. and will be dismissed at 5:15 P.M. This will go on until 7:00 P.M., with each class being 10 minutes long and in between classes, there will be a passing period of 5 minutes.
Parents are not required to attend each class, if they do not wish to. But, it is strongly recommended, so they may get a feel of their child’s schedule and all the classes they are taking, for the ongoing school year. The only classes families will not be visiting are their child’s Miner Block Homerooms (only for underclassmen) or their child’s zero period (if they have one).
This night is guaranteed to be fun and welcoming. If you wish not to attend every class, but choose to stay for the remainder of the evening – food will be provided and fun festivities will be held by Student Council (and more), continuing throughout the night for families to enjoy themselves. It is highly encouraged to attend, and expect to kick off the school year with good energy and enthusiasm. Welcome back to the Gold Mine, Miners!
