Tailgating before the very first home football game of the season at Manogue has become an exciting tradition that the whole community can take part in! On September 8, 2023 at 5:30 P.M. – the BMCHS community gathered together to enjoy food, lovely company, and to rile up amazing energy before kickoff, at 7:00 P.M.

Thanks to Manogue’s very own Student Council and Faculty & Staff, this evening was nothing less than a blast. The families of students who currently attend Manogue, and those who intend to attend Manogue in the future, gathered to take part in the festivities.

Student Council hosted stands for face painting, carnival games, selling spirit gear and so much more. In addition, our “Mini Miners” had the best time with the Varsity cheerleaders, learning all the tricks and skills they do during the games. One Mini Miner had even stated that she is “so excited for high school” and continued to have fun the rest of the evening with her fellow peers.

Overall, the event brought in awesome energy and definitely set the tone for the rest of the night, and it seems that the Bishop Manogue community continues to become closer and closer, as time continues.
