Bishop Manogue students, staff and faculty, homecoming court nominees, and their parents – gathered together on Friday, October 21, before the Homecoming dance on Saturday, to bring in some school spirit for the big event and all its festivities.
Throughout the rally, the nominees and student council perform dances, the boy nominees give heartfelt speeches to their mothers, and fun games were played to keep everyone energetic and interactive. This is a great way to get everyone involved and to bring spirit prior to big events that are held throughout the year.
Behind all the rallies is the Student Council. Student Council makes sure to not only plan and organize plenty of time before the rally and other events held throughout the school year, but to put in their creative ideas to make the events, and the homecoming rally – in this case – memorable, fun and well decorated.
All in all, this is something that students at Bishop Manogue can look forward to every once in a while to revamp and spark their school pep and spirit. Student Council has been told by some of their peers that “the rallies are getting better and are more fun than they have ever been!”
