The start to the regular track season has been kickstarted with indoor winter track.
The track team has been doing practices and a lot of core work to prepare for the season coming up. They have a couple of meets to get them adjusted and tuned for the season, such as Seattle and Cal Berkeley. The Miners are very excited for the difficult competition to represent our school. Hank Kennedy says, “Practices are challenging but good for developing our speed and strength. I am really excited for this coming season, I think that we will be a force to be reckoned with. As a junior, this season is an important one, and I am thrilled to see what this wonderful group has in store.”
These early competitions will serve as crucial tests to prepare the Miners for the intensity of the season. As Manogue has not competed since last season, they are eager to demonstrate their skills and strength that they have developed in the off season. Head coach Dale Moss has had a lot of experience in honing athletes into the best versions of themselves, and will surely lead Manogue to victory. Manogue has proved to be competitive in all forms of track and field and I am excited to see what they can achieve for our school. In the past Manogue has been very competitive having athletes at state every year, I am sure that they will have no lack of winners this season.
