Senior Aibhilin Pezanoski recently achieved a major accomplishment in her musical career after being selected to participate in the 2026 All-State Choir. Through a competitive audition process, Pezanoski earned a place among some of the most talented high school singers in the state, an honor that reflects both her vocal ability and dedication to music.
The All-State Choir is considered one of the highest achievements for student vocalists. Each year, students from schools across the state audition in hopes of being selected for the elite ensemble. The process is highly competitive and requires strong vocal technique, musicianship, and extensive preparation. Students must demonstrate their ability to sing challenging music, maintain pitch and rhythm, and perform confidently in front of judges.
For many choir students, making All-State represents months of practice and commitment. The audition includes advanced choral pieces and sight-reading exercises that test a singer’s overall musical skill. Earning a spot in the choir places students among the top performers in their age group and provides them with the opportunity to perform alongside other accomplished musicians from around the state.
Pezanoski shared, “Being part of All-State Choir was an amazing experience. I worked hard for it, and it was so exciting to perform with so many talented singers.”
Participation in the All-State Choir also allows students to learn from experienced conductors and collaborate with singers who share the same passion for music. Rehearsals are known for being fast-paced and challenging, pushing students to grow as musicians while performing advanced choral literature at a high level. Pezanoski’s accomplishment highlights the strength of the choir program and serves as an inspiration to younger students who hope to pursue similar opportunities in the future.
As her senior year comes to a close, being selected for the 2026 All-State Choir stands out as an impressive milestone and memorable achievement in Pezanoski’s high school experience. The honor reflects years of hard work, passion for music, and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom.
