The annual Bishop Manogue BASH fundraiser took place on Saturday at the Peppermill.

Bishop Manogue’s BASH (Building A Scholastic Heritage) event took place on Saturday, where students, staff, parents, and benefactors came together for a huge night of fundraising. The event focused on supporting Manogue’s financial assistance program. In addition to silent auction items and live auction trips and dinners, over $106,000 was raised from the live ask.

This year’s theme was jazz, which could be felt throughout the event. There was a jazz band as well as a playlist featuring artists like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Nat King Cole. Several students from Student Council were selected as emcees and dancers. They performed two choreographed dances to “Almost like Being in Love” and “Ain’t That a Kick In the Head” that energized the crowd.

The event saw several speakers take the stage, including Bishop Manogue’s new president, Dr. Melissa Millard, as well as Principal Bri Thoreson and VP of Advancement Sofia McHugh. Our Director of Special Events, Lauren Siri, worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure that every detail of the event ran smoothly. When asked how the event went, she said, “BASH was truly a wonderful night filled with great music, incredible student performances, and plenty of fun through our silent and live auctions. We were especially grateful to reach our $100,000 goal during the live ask, with those funds going directly toward tuition assistance for our students and families. It was an unforgettable evening of jazz, community, and generosity, and we are so thankful to everyone who helped make it possible.”
