Miner TV, often shortened to MTV, is no stranger to it’s own technical difficulties. However, it prevails and delivers it’s best broadcast to the student body every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. With everything from connection problems to unfit lighting, the cast of MTV has a lot on their minds.
So what do they think will happen this semester? Will MTV go off without a hitch, or will there be some problems along the way? To comment on what the outlook is for MTV is Cade Patten, a junior who has been with MTV since last year. “I think that it’s all going to go well and that we most likely won’t run into any technical issues unless we have a power surge like last year.” He says. “We plan on continuing to make videos and articles for the rest of the year.”
To also comment on what the outlook is for Miner TV is another junior- who would like to remain anonymous. “I think this season on MTV is gonna be the best it’s ever been with new video ideas every week,” they say, “even though we have to get a new TV.”
With expectations being high for both the student body and the group that runs Miner TV, those in the group seem to be confident that the season will go well. However, anything can happen and all the audience can do is sit back and be hopeful. Good luck Miner TV!
