
The 2026–2027 Manogue varsity cheerleaders are heading into the new season with high expectations, strong leadership, and a renewed sense of purpose. Led by captains Keeli Craig, Addie Larson, and Reagan Bennett, the team is focused on building not only a supportive environment but also a more competitive program that can perform at a higher level than ever before. Their energy and commitment are already setting the tone for what they hope will be a standout year.
Head coach Joanne Bryant has made it clear that this season is about growth, discipline, and raising the standard for Manogue cheer. She is determined to take Bishop Manogue cheer to the next level by emphasizing skill development, accountability, and teamwork. Practices have already become more intense, with a strong focus on precision, technique, and consistency. Bryant’s vision is pushing the team to move beyond traditional sideline cheering and into a more competitive space where they can truly excel.
“Our goal this year is to stand out not just on the sidelines, but in competitions too,” said captain Keeli Craig. “I’m so proud of all of our athletes and we are gonna make this the best year yet.” Her confidence reflects the overall mindset of the team as they prepare for a demanding but exciting season ahead.
The captains play a major role in shaping the team’s culture. Addie Larson emphasized the importance of unity and positivity within the group. “We want everyone to feel included and motivated,” she said. “When we work together and trust each other, that’s when we perform our best.” Creating a strong bond among teammates has become a top priority as they aim to improve both performance and morale.
Reagan Bennett added that the team’s mentality is already shifting in a positive direction. “Coach Joanne is pushing us to be better every day,” she explained. “We’re not just cheering for games anymore, we’re building something more competitive.”
As the season approaches, the varsity cheerleaders are preparing to showcase their hard work on the sidelines and at competitions. With strong leadership, clear goals, and determination, the 2026–2027 season marks a new chapter defined by growth, dedication, and success, both as athletes and as a team.
