Bishop Manogue’s Campus Ministry is set to hold its 70th Kairos retreat, taking place from September 24th-26th, 2023 in Lake Tahoe.
Preparations are already underway and the 13 selected leaders will be meeting frequently to begin planning the first Kairos of the year. This retreat is open to all upperclassmen – if you attend as a junior, you’re able to be a leader at the retreat as a senior. So class of 2025, if leading Kairos is something you’re interested in, be sure to attend!
Kairos, derived from Greek to mean “God’s Time”, is a retreat that is meant to help its attendants deepen their faith, strengthen their identity, and form connections with their peers, among other things. With that being said, everyone has their own unique Kairos experience, as no two Kairos Retreats are the same. So even if you’re not actively practicing the faith, Kairos still has so much to offer and it is an experience that you don’t want to miss out on, so sign up today on the Google Form found linked in the weekly wire or from the QR code found on the flyers posted around the school! If you are unable to attend this Kairos, there are three others taking place later this year.
